"
A
fter arriving from Spain I felt sick with strong pain across my body and fever. I went to the health center where I was tested for the COVID-19 and the result came back positive. After this, I was taken by ambulance to the Cuban Hospital. I was treated by the best group of professionals to whom I will always be grateful."

"After 3 days of treatment in Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital, my situation got worse, so the medical team decided
to
take me to intensive care unit, where I was intubated and sedated for one week. In total, I spent 25 days at the hospital.
...
I know that I am alive thanks to the 5 star equipment and the amazing human team that treated me, to whom I will be eternally be thankful. There are not enough words to describe this feeling of gratitude toward the health system of Qatar. I would like to give a big hug to all the doctors, nurses, cleaners, caterers, etc. that took care of me and saved my live.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you."

"I have been here in Doha for 15 years and am working as a cameraman/ videographer.
I was cared for and treated in Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital for 4 days then transferred to their isolation
...
facility for 13 days and am now home quarantined for another 14 days. I am deeply grateful to Qatar’s government and health sector for they are able to provide excellent care to the population.
To people, I would say that precautions should be followed, especially during this monumental crisis.

"I was admitted to Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital and was told that I was positive for COVID-19. After only a few days there my symptoms were gone, and I was feeling very energetic again. I was then transferred to another facility
...
before being discharged.
I am immensely thankful to all the medical staff who looked after me. The treatment, facilities, food, and care were all top-notch. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. When you compare them with other countries I always used to say to my fellow patients “I hope no one gets the Coronavirus, but if you ever get it, Qatar is the best country to have it in terms of care and treatment".
My advice to the public would be to continue using all protections, keep social distancing, and get themselves tested as soon as they feel that they have got any of the symptoms. "

"Since the first day that I was classified as positive to the last day, I had zero symptoms. As matter of fact, a lifestyle of great quality food, plenty of water and sleep made me feel even healthier than before. And yes, at the time I was COVID positive!
...
The isolation facilities were great. We had plenty of drink and food. I loved my time there. Amazing professionals, space to run, walk, catch some sun. Since we were in a walled compound with around 100 houses.
All around an amazing experience. I felt well cared for."

"I have worked in Hamad General Hospital for about 15 years as a Respiratory Therapist assigned in Accident and Emergency Area. My first encounter with a suspected COVID patient was March 17th. My own symptoms started from March 25th with a dry cough and then fever, so I called the infection control and they told me to go to staff clinic for a test.
...
I spent 13 days in Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital, then 3 days in Al Wakra Hosptial for monitoring. I want to thank Dr. Mohammed Katif MICU consultant, who was the one taking care of me. The treatment that I experienced is really excellent the advanced heathcare facilities, the level of services and the quick response and fast delivery of service in treating patients are extra ordinary to protect the patients.
My advice to the public is to stay at home, always wash your hands. Don't touch your mouth, nose and eyes, and continue social distancing. This coronavirus is serious, don't ignore it."

First, there is not enough words to express my thanks and gratitude to the invaluable efforts of the administrative and medical staff of the Ministry of Public Health. They have accomplished what others in other countries have not been able to while fighting this virus and containing this crisis.
...
After discovering that I was infected with the virus, I was transferred to the Center for Infectious Diseases, where I received full medical care and underwent vital tests including blood tests and chest x-rays to assess the severity of infection. Then, I was given the appropriate treatment and within two days all symptoms disappeared, thanks to God and to the heroes in the frontlines who provided me with constant care and checked up on me every two hours. But the virus was still present in my system and my body fought it for 17 days during which the medical staff worked tirelessly and diligently to keep us healthy and well-cared for.
As a sign of the medical and administrative staff's interest in our well-being, the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Hanan AlKuwari, paid me a visit while I was donating blood plasma twice in a row. She also invited me to her office to congratulate me on my recovery and ask me about the health care services we received as infected patients. This indicates the extent of devotion and care provided to us as citizens and residents starting from the top of the administrative pyramid. This makes us reassured and optimistic in the existence of such management and such attention given to the health sector.
After hearing the news of the effectiveness of blood plasma in treating critically ill coronavirus patients, I was the first to donate blood platelets. This is a religious, patriotic, and humanitarian duty and I will not stop donating to save my infected brothers and sisters.
